As first time homebuyers, I could not have asked for a more efficient Real Estate Agent. We chose to go with a VA loan, which isn’t always the easiest process to navigate through. Matt was very effective in helping us to secure a new home. Excellent local knowledge in the Ann Arbor and surrounding area and very flexible in working with our schedule. During the process of making an offer and agreeing on all issues the sellers we were dealing with were quite difficult. Matt handled it well and helped us get a fair deal when it looked like the purchase might fall apart due to the sellers being stubborn on a couple problems brought up by the inspection. We moved to the area from the other side of the state and Matt took great care of our family. He knows the Chelsea area like the back of his hand, including all of the people who own businesses and families in the area. This was very beneficial to us! Matt was a dream to work with for this first-time home buyer. Being brand new to the home buying world I of course had a bunch of questions and he was very patient with me and had no problems answering them quickly. Matt knew exactly what I was looking for before I even think I did and we accidently found the perfect home for me in the beginning of the pandemic. Despite the new rules, laws going into effect every week and world going crazy he made the experience seem effortless and seamless. We saw the home and had the inspection before the stay at home order. That was unfortunately the last time I got to see Matt due to the new laws going into effect. That didn’t stop him from reaching out and being with me every step of the way. He stayed in touch and walked me through every step via text. I put in an offer a couple hours after seeing my home and it was accepted four hours later. A month later I closed on the home. Matt connected me with a team of people that made this a great experience and super easy despite the COVID issues at hand. Matt is so hardworking, while also being incredibly personable and down to earth. You can talk openly about your desires and concerns and expect honest and understanding responses. From day one we felt like Matt heard what we were looking for and helped us get that in our new home. He was also super ontop of us selling our previous home, and when we needed more time to prepare it than anticipated, he was understanding and accommodating. Other agents like working with him too, and that's a plus. I'm not sure he ever sleeps or takes a day off because he was always available and quick to respond when we needed him. Matt is a local guy that was able to negotiate and sell our house within 17 hours. He was supportive and provided accurate advice to what needed to be done so wasted effort was not made before putting the house up. He knew the perfect timing to place it on the market and was there every step of the way. Matt provides the highest level of customer service I've experienced in a long time! He is super responsive, always goes above and beyond, and is just a super nice guy to boot! I met Matt at an open house he was holding and he made a very positive impression right off. I'd had a poor experience with another Realtor who was not at all in tune with my needs. So a few months later when I wanted to see a condo, I called Matt. After that first showing, I said, "You're my Realtor!" What I love about Matt (besides that he's an awesome human being) is that he understands customer service in a way that few people in any industry do.
